Assessing
Your Needs
Our Surveyor Engineers will make a full inspection of your
property, free of charge and discuss with you the alarm options
that are open to you. His or her recommendations could include
any of the following solutions:
-
Door
contacts that register on opening
-
Window
contacts that register on opening
-
Shock
sensors fitted to the door or window frames that react to
shocks caused by attempted illegal entry
-
Break-glass
detectors that are activated by the sound of an intruder
breaking the glass
-
Passive
infra-red detectors (or dual-tech detectors) that react
to the intruder moving within a room.
-
These
are strategically placed to provide the best security possible.
If it's a domestic property with pets, we'll even include
special provision to eliminate false alarms caused by their
movements.
All
these sensors will then be wired in to a main control panel or wireless if needed,
which will be controlled by a remote keypad (if required)
located in a convenient place. The control panel is connected
to an external sounder that generates the audible alarm. This
is known as a 'bells only' system, i.e. the sounder starts
ringing when the intruder alarm system is activated. (insurance grade 2X)
Professional Installers
Our own high-caliber engineers install every S.G.S
intruder alarm system. All of them are hand-picked,
and subject to rigorous vetting that takes a close look at
their last 10 years of employment. This procedure complies
with the policy BS 7858, which means that
it is acceptable to the Local & National police forces.
Our engineers wear S.G.S uniforms, and drive liveried vehicles. They are highly
trained in every aspect of security installations - they work
quickly and unobtrusively, leaving the premises exactly as
they found them. But before they go, they fully test the security
system and make sure that you know exactly how to operate
it. If you've got any questions after that, feel free to contact
us.
After-Sales and Maintenance
We pride ourselves on our after-sales service. Should any
problems arise with your alarm system, we operate a 24-hour
call-out service, and we guarantee you a response!
As for maintenance, your first year is automatically covered.
After that, we offer an extremely flexible rolling 12-monthly
maintenance contract that can cover parts and labour during
normal working hours.
For complete peace of mind, it makes sense to have your system
regularly maintained by the people who installed it - and
who know it backwards, this is now becoming an Insurance requirement.
Intruder Alarm Monitoring
We've all heard them. Intruder alarm bells ringing in the
middle of the night with no one taking any notice. The alternative
is to have your intruder alarm system monitored. This means
linking it to the S.G.S Systems nominated
receiving center. this is connected by a telephone line, so
that we can give a rapid response.
Other types of signaling include Redcare/Redcare GSM, Dualcom/Dualcom
GPRS and Digital Communicators.
Key holding / Man Guarding
Rather than putting yourself or your key holder at risk, we
can also arrange for a key holding service, this means a fully
trained member of the key holding team can be called to asses
the situation before you or your staff are troubled
Take the inconvenience and worry out of your home or business
security by calling us on 01902-745565 today.

Leasing Options Explained
Security equipment is an absolute necessity these days, but
it's not the type of asset that will earn you any money.
Wouldn't
it be better to invest your cash in something that will show
a return?
Of course it would, but isn't leasing simply a costly alternative
for those who can't budget for the full cash price?
Quite simply, no. Leasing is used by the whole spectrum of
businesses, from sole traders to the largest blue-chip corporations.
There are a number of benefits to leasing, and as such, a
variety of reasons as to why companies choose to lease their
equipment.
So what are the benefits?
Rentals are 100% allowable against corporation tax
All rentals payable under a lease contract are 100% tax deductible.
The equipment is owned by the finance company and so the rentals
that you pay are classed as a business expense. How much will
your tax bill be reduced by if you go for the lease option?
Conserves your capital and improves cash flow.
Should you choose to pay as you enjoy the use of the equipment
rather than purchase it outright, the impact on your cash flow
is vastly reduced. This will leave you with more money available
for perhaps more mission critical expenditure or investment.
Preserves alternative credit lines
In the same way as cash flow is enhanced, the lease option
leaves your other lines of credit intact and free for use
when you might need them more.
Ease of budgeting
All rentals will be fixed for the term of the lease, so you
know exactly where you are at all times, making budgeting
simple. The lease term will reflect the useful working life
of the equipment, so you will pay for the equipment as you
benefit from its use. After all, if it's not going to earn
you any money, why plough your hard earned cash into it?
Gives you the ability to keep pace with technology
As improvements are made in equipment technology, it is possible
to upgrade your equipment during the lease. Would you feel
unrestricted in updating your equipment when you needed to
if it still owed you a reasonable amount of money on your
books?
Provides greater freedom of choice
Very
often, capital budgets can dictate when and what you purchase.
Leasing provides an affordable rental stream which means that
you can have the equipment that you need, when you need it,
and at a cost that you can justify.
If you invest your cash into a depreciating asset, you lose
the ability to use it to make money elsewhere. Twin this with
the tax advantages of leasing and you have a flexible, cost
effective method of acquiring your security equipment.
